How do I get the App!?
Unfortunately, Key Indicators is no longer available on the iOS App Store. The amount of interest in the app wasn’t high enough to justify renewing our account with Apple for 2013; however, there has been a small surge of emails and comments lately that suggest that we ought to get it back up. Also, we’re considering a version of the app for Android.
How do I delete an indicator that I know longer want to track?
To delete an indicator you first need to deactivate it. You can do this by tapping the “Edit” button at the top right corner of an Indicator’s detailed view (The view where you set goals, priority, and category). Then you select the deactivated indicator and tap the “Delete” button.
What’s the point in deactivating an indicator instead of just deleting it.
When an indicator is deleted, so is all of it’s data. This means that your Lifetime Score, and historical scores will be calculated as if the indicator never existed. Deactivating the indicator moves the indicator out of the way, but retains all of the information. This is particularly useful for students who are tracking their time for particular courses, for example. When they finish the course, they don’t want the indicator cluttering their indicator list, but they also don’t want to lose the valuable data they have built up.
How do I rename an indicator?
Renaming an indicator is super quick and easy! All you have to do is tap the “Edit” button at the top right corner of an Indicator’s detailed view, and then select “Rename Indicator.” Change the name and tap “Save” and then you’re done!
